The firm was retained to represent a minority member of a limited liability company in a direct and derivative lawsuit related to the client’s ownership interest in a company based in Madison County, Alabama. The firm’s client was oppressed and pushed out of the company by the majority member, causing her substantial damages. The firm is seeking to recover a wide range of damages, including, but not limited to, the client’s fair share of the company’s profits and income, unpaid compensation and expenses, punitive damages, and attorney’s fees.
