Trespass And Loss of Timber Value Lawsuit

October 2015

The firm was retained to represent a property owner in Lauderdale County, Alabama. An adjoining landowner trespassed on the client’s property, using a bulldozer to create two wide paths on the client’s land and destroy portions of the client’s property. The firm successfully obtained a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against the adjoining landowner to prevent further trespasses, and is seeking damages to compensate the client for loss of timber value, destruction and erosion of the terrain, and other legal and equitable relief for the harms and losses caused.
