Title Insurance Claim Related to Undisclosed Easement

November 2010

The firm was retained to represent two homeowners in a dispute against several parties who induced them to purchase property based on incorrect and/or false information. Specifically, prior to purchasing the property, the homeowners were not notified by defendants of an easement on the property prior to the purchase, preventing them from making improvements to the property. Had the easement been disclosed, the clients would not have purchased the property. As a result, the homeowners have suffered substantial damages.
