The firm was retained to represent an individual who entered into a contract to acquire property in Madison County, Alabama. The contract required the defendants to purchase the property back from the firm’s client at a future date. The defendants breached the agreement and defrauded the firm’s client, causing several million dollars in damages. The case is set for a jury trial later this year.
