The firm filed suit against Lloyds’ of London and others in Franklin County, Circuit Court on behalf of a poultry farmer who had his poultry houses vandalized while chickens were not present in the houses. Lloyd’s of London denied the claim in erroneous reliance upon a “vacancy” provision in the insurance policy. The Complaint seeks compensatory and punitive damages for breach of contract and bad faith refusal to pay the insurance claim.
